O corpo em ação: Reflexões sobre o dedilhado na execução pianística

O presente trabalho apresenta reflexão teórica e resultados de pesquisa realizada com o objetivo de entender de que maneira a capacidade de planejamento do dedilhado intervém na manutenção do fluxo da leitura à primeira vista ao piano e em que medida o comportamento do dedilhado pode revelar as estratégias de leitura adotadas durante esses eventos. Os sujeitos da pesquisa (n=9) realizaram teste escrito seguido de duas execuções da obra em atividades de leitura à primeira vista. A obra, especialmente composta para a pesquisa, foi apresentada em três versões diferentes, e houve um intervalo de uma semana entre as tarefas. Os resultados apontam que o comportamento do dedilhado se ancora em processos cognitivos complexos baseados em conhecimento prévio, tipos de estratégias de leitura, capacidade de planejamento, flexibilidade de padrões de comportamento motor incorporados e características do texto. Conclui que a realização do dedilhado não se reduz a um simples condicionamento motor, a partir de regras. Para além disso, ele revela estratégias e abre janelas para o estudo dos processos cognitivos envolvidos na tarefa de executar um instrumento, no caso específico desse trabalho, o piano.

The body in action: Reflections on the fingering in piano performance

This paper presents theoretical reflection and results of research carried out with the aim to understand how the capacity planning of the fingering is involved in maintaining the flow of sight-reading at the piano and what the behavior of the fingering can reveal about reading strategies adopted. The subject of research (n=9) have written test followed by two performances in activities of sight-reading. The score, especially composed for the research, was presented in three different versions, and there was an interval of a week between the tasks. The results show that the behavior of the fingering is anchored in complex cognitive processes based on prior knowledge, types of reading strategies, capacity planning, flexibility of embedded engine behavior patterns and characteristics of the text. Concludes that the achievement of fingering cannot be reduced to a simple motor conditioning, from rules. Furthermore, it reveals strategies and opens windows to the study of cognitive processes involved in the task of playing an instrument, in the specific case of this study, the piano.
