Arte como convenção institucional

O presente trabalho, através da teoria Instituição Arte avançada pelo filosofo George Dickie 1926, aborda um tema que constitui uma lacuna, ou se preferir, parte faltante na discussão sobre obras de arte ao longo da sua história: a questão da falsificação e o mundo da arte. Os sistemas de eleição dos artefatos artísticos, revisitando paradigmas artísticos, trazendo à luz a validação enquanto obra de arte em si mesma, o valor ou o menor valor do objeto e todo o longo discurso reflexivo que se forma sobre esse assunto são imprescindíveis a um mundo em transformação.

Art as an institutional convention

Based on the philosopher George Dickie’s Art Institution theory, this paper covers a topic that is a gap, or if you prefer, missing piece in discussing works of art throughout its history: the question of forgery and the world of art. The sistems of electing art artifacts, revisitng artistic paradigms, bringing to light the validation of the art in itself, the value or the lower value of the object, and all of the long reflective discourse related to this subject, are indispensable in a world which is constantly changing.
