A aplicação terapêutica da música no tratamento de pessoas com implante coclear (IC): uma revisão sistemática

O objetivo deste estudo foi o de oferecer uma síntese da literatura acerca das intervenções terapêuticas com música, realizadas por musicoterapeutas e por outros profissionais da saúde, com pessoas com implante coclear (IC). Uma revisão sistemática da literatura foi conduzida e demonstrou que a reabilitação com a intervenção terapêutica da música possui o potencial de contribuir no (re)estabelecimento das cinco etapas do desenvolvimento auditivo: detecção, discriminação, identificação, reconhecimento e compreensão. Este processo pode garantir à pessoa implantada uma melhor integração física e emocional no mundo e, consequentemente, uma melhor qualidade de vida.

The therapeutic application of music in the treatment of the person with cochlear implant (CI): a systematic review

The aim of this review is to provide a synthesis of the literature on music intervention, done by music therapists and by professionals from other health areas, for people with cochlear implant (CI). A systematic review of the literature was conducted and showed that music has the potential to facilitate the rehabilitation of the five hearing developmental stages: awareness, discrimination, identification, acknowledgement, and comprehension.
