Canções de Oscar Lorenzo Fernândez

A presente tese propõe a investigação de elementos históricos, musicais, interpretativos e pedagógicos das canções do compositor nacionalista Oscar Lorenzo Fernândez (1897-1948), que possam oferecer meios práticos para a sua execução. Para tal, foram selecionadas treze canções representativas das três fases composicionais do autor. Estas revelam aspectos característicos dos procedimentos usados por Fernândez para musicar as poesias por ele escolhidas. Para acompanhar o texto, foi oferecida em anexo a editoração de todas as 40 canções do compositor, acrescidas da transcrição fonética na partitura.

This thesis intends to investigate the historic, musical, interpretative and pedagogic elements in the songs of the Brazilian nationalistic composer Oscar Lorenzo Fernândez (1897-1948), which can offer practical means for their performance. To achieve this goal, thirteen songs were chosen, all of which are representative of the three compositional periods of the author. They reveal characteristic features of the procedures used by Fernândez to set in music the poetry selected by him. To supplement the text, an edition of the complete 40 songs by the composer is offered, with phonetic transcriptions added to the score.

Cette thèse propose l’enquête sur les éléments historiques, musicales, interprétatives et pedagogiques des mélodies du compositeur nationaliste Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez (1897-1948), qui peuvent offrir des moyens pratiques pour leur interpretation. À cette fin, treize chansons représentatives des trois phases compositionels de l'auteur ont été sélectionnés. Elles révèlent des aspects caractéristiques des procédures utilisées par Fernândez pour mettre en musique les poèmes choisis par lui. Pour accompagner le texte, tous les 40 chansons du compositeur ont été offertes, avec une transcription phonétique dans la partition.
